Samantha Blaisse Voice Studio

Professional Guidance

MY STORY

My teaching philosophy revolves around two primary goals: training healthy singers, and encouraging my students to be well-rounded musicians and confident performers.

Many singers today utilize their voices in unhealthy ways and soon find that rather than improving, they experience pain or lose their voices altogether. For me, the key to becoming a good singer is learning how to use your voice in safe, healthy, and beautiful ways, no matter what kind of music you love to sing.

Whether you are a beginner interested in learning fundamentals, an aspiring choral or solo singer, a seasoned artist looking for performance coaching, or simply a music lover looking for a fun,

stress-free hobby, I can tailor lessons to suit your needs!

I recognize the potential in each one of my students. With my customizable approach, I’ve seen my students’ self-esteem and skill-set consistently rise. I love what I do and it makes me happy to be able to share my passion with others. I believe that learning to sing should be a fun, uplifting experience no matter what type of music you are interested in, or what your vocal goals are. I’m a patient, adaptable, and professional Voice Instructor ready to help you reach your goals.

Get in touch today so we can start working together to

turn the music you love to hear into the music you love to sing!

Testimonials

"Extremely professional, while at the same time adding fun to the singing and coaching environment.  My daughter has grown so much in the time she has been with Samantha, both in her voice and her music reading skills."  - Kimberly  F.

"My daughter began working with Samantha when she was in fifth grade. Six years later, she has grown tremendously in talent and confidence. Singing lessons are something that my daughter looks forward to each week. Samantha is an exceptional teacher." - Shannon K.

"I originally sought out Sam as a teacher because her online website look organized and well laid out. Since reaching out to her she has been equally responsive and organized. From the first lesson we had, she has made me feel comfortable with my vocal insecurities and has helped me push my boundaries. Her lessons give me the freedom to choose what songs I want to work on or open it up to suggestions from her. We have worked on a great balance of music in different genres ranging from purely fun songs to pieces that push my vocal range beyond what I originally thought I could reach. She is encouraging and a pleasure to work with and I would recommend her to anyone of any age looking to work on their singing voice." - Robyn S.

"Lessons are relaxed but productive and Mrs. Blaisse is well versed in both the physical techniques of singing and their translation into music theory." - Jake G.

"Having been away from choral music for several decades, and with an audition for the Hershey Symphony Chorus' Beethoven's 9th symphony looming, I needed a serious musical re-education. After a thorough search, I had the extreme good fortune to engage Samantha with the goal of preparing me for the audition. And prepare me she did. We studied pitch, intonation, dynamics, meter, phrasing and a host of intangibles that ultimately resulted in a successful audition and performance. After the Beethoven, I continued to study with Samantha and, thanks largely to her skill and encouragement, have joined several choral organizations and made music-making an important part of my life. I would recommend that anyone, any age, who desires to study the choral arts do so with Samantha." - Ray H.
